The Importance of Life Groups

Scripture to Launch Life Groups

Is. 38:16 (NKJV)

16 O Lord, by these things men live;

And in all these things is the life of my spirit;

So You will restore me and make me live.

Remember, everyone who comes to the Lord comes in a sinful, damaged, dysfunctional, broken state, in need of His Salvation. His Salvation, represents everything we need, have and live to enjoy the abundant life He has promised, but we must first appropriate the complete gift of Salvation that He has for us:

His Redemption

His Reconciliation

His Repair

His Recovery

His Restoration

I believe the Assembly (Sunday service, Life Groups, marriage groups, men’s groups, women’s groups, youth group) in the Bible represents: The gathering of God’s People in both large and small gatherings for the purpose of being in His Presence to receive, learn and apply the Principles, Promises and Processes He has provided for ABUNDANT LIFE IN HIM; ABUNDANT LIFE TO US and ABUNDANT LIFE THROUGH US.

The Dwelling Place Life Groups represent not just another meeting or empty gathering, but a special supernatural appointed time; a divine appointment that God has created, called and chosen for us to receive, learn and apply the Principles, Promises and Processes that release His ABUNDANT LIFE in and to us. This isn’t something we’re adding to our already busy schedule. No, this is critical not just to our survival, but to our ability to THRIVE and FLOURISH in the LOVE and LIFE God has promised and provided for us. Remember, we

are known by our LOVE FOR HIM as MANIFESTED by our LOVE FOR ONE ANOTHER.

Life Groups are a supernatural outgrowth of what we are called to and what we are called to do during our Sunday Service gatherings. Life Groups provide us an opportunity to grow and go deeper in our COMMITMENT, COMMUNICATIONS, CONNECTION and COMMUNITY with God, ourselves and others.

So, get excited about the wonderful gifts God will reveal through this process. Enjoy your time with HIM and ONE ANOTHER!

Blessings,

Pastor Carleton
