Read Scripture
John 15:26-27 (NIV New International Version)
26 “When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father—the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father—he will testify about me. 27 And you also must testify, for you have been with me from the beginning.
John 16:13-14 (NIV New International Version)
13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. 14 He will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you.
Pivot to the discussion by asking the following questions that explore how the Holy Spirit is working to “lead you into [God’s] truth”:
a. What is the new revelation of Truth that the Holy Spirit is sharing with you that contradicts the falsehood and the deceptions in your life, your culture, and the world?
b. How are you using the spiritual disciplines to grow in your knowledge of God’s Truth?

Ministry Focus
1. During the End Times the greatest battle for the Christian and the World will be the battle of TRUTH against the spirit of DECEPTION. (See Matt. 24:4-5, 11, 24; Rev. 12:8-9; 20:3, 8, 10).
Learning the TRUTH of God’s WORD, WILL and WAYS will be essential for the development, growth and maturity of our faith and intimacy in our relationship with Him, Ourselves and Others. The practice of Biblical Spiritual Disciplines help us to “Discipline yourself for the purpose of godliness” (1 Timothy 4:7, NASB and when accomplished “In the Spirit”, we develop Godly Character that reflects “Christlikeness” and reveals the TRUTH that comes from knowing Jesus. Jesus said the Holy Spirit, The Advocate, The Spirit of TRUTH would lead us into “all TRUTH” (See John 16:13). This is the TRUTH that Jesus said will “set us free” (See John 8:31-32; Rom. 8:2; Jas. 2:12).
2. As we grow in our knowledge about the role of the Holy Spirit, we realize there are things in our life that contradict the Spirit of Truth. We want to know the source of the things that cause conflict in our soul. The conflict usually exists because the truth is conflicting with a lie, deception, falsehood. Usually, when there is conflict in our soul, it is because there is a truth encounter happening and we’re wrestling in our soul (mind, will, and emotions).
3. The Bible says that you will know the truth and the truth will set you free. The knowing of Truth is going through the process of receiving God’s truth, accepting God’s truth, believing God’s truth, and then applying God’s truth. Many times, if not, most of the time, God’s truth conflicts with our “personal truth”, “cultural truth”, and the truth that society is proclaiming as “the current truth”.
4. Unless we are being filled with the Spirit and the Word of God and allowing our minds to be renewed and our hearts and lives changed, our lives are more in alignment with the spirit of darkness than the Spirit of Light. We cannot live in two kingdoms. If we are unwilling to live in God’s kingdom, then we can only live in the kingdom of darkness.
